The plan is to do an out-and-back hike of Mount Pierce to Mount Eisenhower via the Crawford Path, beginning and ending at the AMC Highland Center. This will total about 10 miles and 3700 ft of elevation gain and is not a beginner-level hike.

(Please note, I could not find an AllTrails of the exact route I'd like to take. We will continue up the Crawford Path to summit Mount Eisenhower, and turn around the Crawford Path to make this an out-and-back trail)


Although it is technically spring, it is the Presis, and you should still expect winter conditions and cold weather towards the summit. Snowshoes will likely not be necessary but microspikes and other winter gear will be, since we may encounter a range of seasons as we hit different elevations. I hike at a moderate pace (~1.5 mph) and would like to stick together during this hike.
