Mount Feake Cemetery Wreath Laying

Honoring Major George H. Maynard Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient

Each year the First Lieutenant of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company (AHAC) is responsible for laying a wreath at the grave site of Major George H. Maynard at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham Massachusetts (off Prospect Street/adjacent to Charles River). Major George Maynard was a member of our great company who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for actions during the Civil War. The public is invited to observe this ceremony. Often local political leaders and veterans groups attend. More information on Maynard.
