What was life like on a big country estate in the early 1800s? Take a moonlight tour at Gore Place and find out! We'll see the 1793 carriage house, walk the grounds, and tour the 1806 mansion, one of the few early homes designed by a woman.


We’ll start in the Carriage House, just off the parking lot, then it’s a 2 minute walk to the mansion. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Although the majority of the mansion tour takes place on the ground floor. Visiting the second floor requires climbing two flights of stairs. Those who do not wish to climb stairs will be provided a book of photos describing the second floor, or you may choose to leave the tour after viewing the ground floor. Tickets are $10-$17.
