Boston Public Library and National Park Service present the following online program. In October of 2017, Massachusetts officials removed one of the only markers in the state dedicated to the Confederacy from Fort Warren on Georges Island. This program will explore the history of the marker, the organization that erected it, and the broader national dialogue about how we remember the American Civil War. People who are interested in attending are kindly asked to register at the following link: https://boston-public-library.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwkcOygrTMuE9F3z0ll4zsyIU3lajjnu6dK.
