A discussion of the film The World, the Flesh and the Devil directed by Ranald Macdougall and starring Harry Belafonte. Set in post-apocalyptic New York this 1959 drama also stars Inger Stevens and Mel Ferrer, and interrogates the racial inequality of its pre-Civil Rights era.
