Minni Make + Play - Sunshine Art (virtual)

Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.

In Minni Make + Play – Sunshine Art (virtual) students will shine a spotlight on dad while creating vibrant works of art for Father’s Day. Instructor Maria will show students how to use a variety of tactile materials to recreate the sun in 2D form.

Materials Needed

Scavenger hunt items: Collage materials in warm colors! Materials may include paper shapes, fabric scraps, pom poms, buttons and pieces of yarn. Warm colors include yellow, red, orange and pink!
1 piece of white paper
Warm colored tempera paint (we recommend 2–3 colors)
A small square-shaped piece of cardboard, about 3–4” wide (no need to be exact!)
Liquid glue
Paint brush or Q-Tip to apply glue with
A spoon
