Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.


In Minni Make + Play – Rainbow Paintings (virtual) little painters will explore every bright shade of the rainbow. Instructor Maria will offer a brief lesson in foundational color theory as students mix and match a host of messy hues.


Materials Needed


2 white pieces of paper or cardboard (the larger the better!)


2–3 small square-shaped pieces of cardboard, about 3–4” wide


Red, yellow and blue tempera paint in squeeze bottles or containers


Additional paint colors if desired


We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop. For this workshop, take a look around your home for every color of the rainbow! Name the colors and objects as you go.
