Little designers will be “lining up” for our newest workshop offering a lively look at Piet Mondrian's key influences on modern painting, architecture, and design. Local artist and teacher Liliana Marquez will guide students through an exploration of the bright art of Mondrian, who used the most basic forms and colors to create colored collages of lines and shapes. Minni Artists will be encouraged to identify the distinct elements of Mondrian's work, including his use of primary colors and horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines, and will then use recycled and repurposed materials to produce their own collaged creations.
