Donald Nevin presents a variety of moving pictures from the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s. The Vanishing El, presents the Third Avenue El in New York in the late 1940s. Ten Seconds to Go is a Kansas City Public Service Company employee safety film made during World War II. It’s a Big Job, an early-1950s worker recruiting film from the narrow-gauge Los Angeles Railway, offers a different type of streetcar company presentation. Flight of the Century, is the experience of a ride on the Twentieth Century Limited, filmed by the New York Central in 1935.
