Join us at for a screening of David Lynch's "Dune" (1984) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston! šŸŽ„ šŸæ

In the year 10191, a duke and his family are sent by the Emperor to the desert planet of Arrakisā€”home to giant sand worms and the main source of a precious substance called melange that is essential to interstellar travel. The move is intended to destroy the family, but the dukeā€™s gifted son (Kyle MacLachlan) escapes and seeks revenge, using the planetā€™s ecology as one of his weapons.

Featuring iconic performances by MacLachlan, Patrick Stewart, and Sting, this controversial space epic is a feast for the senses with wildly imaginative sets and a haunting soundtrack by Toto and Brian Eno.

"Dune" is part of "On the Fringe: Adventures in Cult Cinema," an MFA Film series screening throughout 2019: bit.ly/2GHkSKZ

MFA members can now reserve a free pair of tickets to every "On the Fringe" screening, pending availability. University Members and Pozen Community College Access Program student participants can purchase $5 same-day tickets in person for regularly priced screenings. Valid student ID required, limit of one ticket per ID.
