"These have been the thoughts lately that my work has translated into images. I create symbolic compositions using a variety of media: handmade papers, drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage, often layered together. Recently- having spent the past two years in Chile- I integrate cartographies, book pages, maps and organic abstractions in my series “In Search of Open Spaces”. These elements recall and interpret the Andes mountain range, Patagonian landscapes and Chilean culture that I experienced during my stay."
