Every Year on World AIDS day and A Day With(out) Art, Medicine Wheel productions has held an art installation and vigil to provide a space to remember, reflect, and find one's place in the AIDS crisis. Begun in 1992, this will be the 23rd year of the Vigil. While it is an art installation, it will also host performances from artists of various disciplines as swell as offerings from spiritual leaders from all traditions on the hour every hour for the twenty four hours that it runs. This year we will be meeting at 11 pm at Pleasure Bay on November 30th to begin a lantern procession which will enter the fort at midnight to officially begin the event. Between four and five pm on december first there will be an hour dedicated to youth performances, which will be followed by a panel on HIV/AIDS and the impact is has on today's youth. We hope you will be able to join us to remember those who have been lost and honor the hope we see for the future on this day.
