In celebration of spring, the McMullen Museum invites visitors to participate in an afternoon filled with children’s programming, including storytelling, an egg hunt, basket making, arts and crafts, games, and guided tours of the exhibition. Young children (ages two to twelve) and families may build their own baskets and find eggs hidden throughout the Museum grounds, while visitors of all ages enjoy music, games, arts and crafts, and a free docent tour throughout the afternoon. Arts and crafts will include origami animals and basket making, as well as sidewalk chalk drawing and botanical sun prints (weather permitting). The Museum staff will read children’s books at sessions throughout the afternoon, while a variety of games will be scattered throughout the Museum.
