I'm very happy to welcome jazz & roots fiddle player extraordinaire Matt Glaser back to the Mandorla Music Series, this time with a quartet comprised of Brittany Karlson on bass and vocals, Jon Wheatley on guitar and Sonny Barbato on accordion! About this band, Matt says they play "Swing, jazz, country, and folk all played with a chamber music sensibility. Now with the world's greatest jazz accordionist!"


Matt served as the chair of the string department at the Berklee College of Music for more than twenty-five years. He is now the founder and artistic director of Berklee's American Roots Music Program. He has performed with artists as diverse as Yo Yo Ma, Stephane Grappelli, Bob Dylan, Ralph Stanley and Lee Konitz.
