Time to party up and party down! Come share your story of the epic rager in college or maybe your family reunion gone wrong.


What is a Story Slam? A story slam is a contest of stories by known and undiscovered talent. Themes are posted on the events pages (www.massmouth.com) and story slammers sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute short story on the evening's theme. Ten names will be drawn at random. A team of 5 volunteer judges - interested amateurs, storytellers, theater people and members of the audience who love stories - evaluate how well each story is told, how well it is constructed, how well the story explores, connects and/or reveals some truth about the theme and, how well it honors the time limit. Highest-scoring tellers are awarded prizes and an opportunity to perform at the "BigMouthOff" at the at the end of story slam season V in April.


$10 or $5 students/seniors
