Marathon Daffodil Dash

Revere Parks and Recreation and Suffolk Downs invite you to join us for the first kids Marathon Daffodil Dash on Saturday, April 16th from 9am – 12pm. Celebrate Marathon weekend in the city with our very own kids race at The Track. The Track will be lined with ‘Marathon Daffodils’ that line the streets of Boston leading up to the Boston Marathon finish line. The Marathon Daffodils project began in 2013 as the yellow daffodil symbolizes strength and hope. Every year, the streets of the Marathon and attractions all over the city showcase Marathon Daffodils on display throughout Boston Marathon weekend.

There will be three 50-yard dash races for grades K-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-8 followed by two mile runs for grades K-8. The races will not be timed and all participants will receive a bib number and tshirt once they cross the finish line. All athletes must be registered to participate by Friday, April 15th.

After the race, hang out in the Paddock with games provided by Revere Parks and Recreation and post-run snacks provided by Suffolk Downs. Beraka Juice will be onsite selling cold press organic juice from 10am – 12pm.

This event is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is required to participate in the race events.
