"Man vs. Machine: Furniture Making Today" will compare and contrast the roles that both human hands and new technologies play in the design process and production of contemporary furniture. From highly conceptual to completely functional, the furniture featured in this discussion illustrates how these two design approaches diverge and intersect in exciting and unexpected ways.

The lecture will begin at 6:00pm, followed by a light reception.

Please note that this lecture is limited to 50 participants.
