About Making Dance While a Mother:
Join us for the next in our series Learning to Walk the Talk. Inspired by the issues that concern members of our dance community, our December 13th conversation engages two mothers who are also dance-makers in dialogue with each other. Laura Sanchez and Jessica Roseman - both accomplished and prolific artists with unique histories - will share their stories of their relationships to children, to partners and extended families, all the while giving birth in a daily practice of making dances - creating the other offspring in the room sometimes unnamed. Audience and viewer questions will be engaged within the session.
