"Look, club music is inherently functional. It can definitely be emotional and transcendental and everything else, of course, but it is still built to make bodies move in a club, right? And I think it's important to me to preserve the enthusiasm and love that I have for it, which I can only do by not listening to it all the fucking time. I don't think that's so controversial.
