Class Description
Create a one-of-a-kind Letter Necklace with the initial of your choice. You’ll handcraft the letter pendant using eco-friendly recycled sterling silver and be provided with an 18” chain to complete the necklace. No experience necessary.


Class Goals
By learning how to texture, saw, file, and polish, you’ll turn plain eco-friendly recycled sterling silver sheet into a beautiful ready-to-wear Letter Necklace in just three hours. We’ll also learn how to use the torch to anneal the silver if needed, and solder the jump ring bail. A finished 18” sterling silver chain with spring ring clasp, and a gift box will be provided, so your gift will be ready to give!
This class is also a great foundation to prepare you for taking the Tool Training Class so you can be tested and certified to use the Artisan’s Asylum Jewelry Shop on your own as a member.


Materials Fee
$30.00 materials fee payable to the Instructor; this fee covers the sterling silver and shop consumables.


For safety purposes hair must be tied back; no loose clothing and closed-toe shoes are a must. Wear an apron to protect your clothing if you have one, and bring a notebook if you like to take notes.
