Join the exquisite voices of Exsultemus with instrumentalists from Newton Baroque for a glorious setting of the Magnificat by Polish composer Marcin Józef Żebrowski. A dazzling and dynamic work for choir and chamber orchestra, this little-known piece perfectly captures Mary’s joyous canticle of praise. Additional music from the 18th-century Polish capitals of Warsaw and Dresden will include works by Heinichen, Zelenka, Homilius, Gorczycki, and Pękiel.
