Gifted musicians are joining forces, raising their voices and instruments in a call for society to stand up for social justice, like orators and artists have done in the African Meeting House since it was built by free black craftsmen in 1806. As some of New England Conservatory's most talented craftspersons of sound, members of the student and faculty body are breaking the silence through this special concert and building bridges between individuals with common interests. Featured performers represent the full scope of talent at NEC, from jazz and improvisation to classical studies, creating amazing opportunities for all students and mentors to use their musical voice for social awareness. Look forward to more wonderful music at MAAH featuring NEC vocalists and instrumentalists in 2015.
