Our 35 year old friend, Alex, was recently diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma Stage 4 Lung Cancer after visiting the doctor for a nagging cough that would not subside. The Cancer has metastasized or spread to lymph nodes in both lungs and outside her chest to lymph nodes in her collar bone and neck. Unfortunately because the cancer is so widespread- surgery and radiation are not an option.

This journey is going to be a difficult one- both physically and mentally but also financially. A major part of Alex's treatment is immunotherapy which costs $100,000 and is NOT covered by insurance.
