This spring imaginary beasts invites you to take a ride on love’s merry-go-round when they present Molière’s rarely performed gem, Lovers’ Quarrels, translated into English verse by Richard Wilbur. Jealous rivalries and merry mix-ups lead a trio of couples astray in this classic tale of deception and intrigue!


Young Ascagne has spent her life in male disguise for the sake of a family inheritance; but when she falls in love with her sister’s rejected suitor, she enacts a bold masquerade that sets off a comical chain of events that changes the lives of everyone around her.

Approximate Running Time: 2 hours with one 10 minute intermission.


Shows everyday through April 19th, with the exception of April 14 and 15.
