Love in Action: An evening to support The Salvation Army's Youth Programs

Join local business leaders and community supporters to raise critical funds that will benefit youth served by one the area's favorite non-profits, The Salvation Army of Waltham! “Love in Action,” will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Tempo, 474 Moody Street, Waltham, MA.

The night will kick off with Country 102.5’s Ayla Brown making a special appearance, as guests enjoy a silent auction, entertainment, food, fun, and a cash bar by Tempo. Tickets are available in advance for $75 with limited availability at the door.

Lifelong Waltham resident and Salvation Army supporter Wayne Brasco, Sr., President and CEO, Brasco & Sons, will be honored for his philanthropic commitment to bettering the welfare of our Waltham neighbors, including access to addiction recovery programs and providing resources for children. Over the past 40 years, Brasco and his family have raised thousands of dollars to support critical programs for youth and families.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and the community, fundraising efforts help support children served by The Salvation Army of Waltham. Through camp scholarships for those whose families may not have otherwise been able to afford summer camp experiences, The Salvation Army is helping kids make lifelong summer memories. Money raised also provides hundreds of local children with back-to-school supplies each August. Since The Salvation Army of Waltham opened in 1895, the non-profit organization has helped provide thousands of Waltham-area youth and families with resources and opportunities.
