For one night only, Lady Lee & The New Awakening Band - Derek Wood, Felix Fantasia, Masataka Yamamoto, Shaquan Gabriel, Heirloom Seeds David Quee Nyagua - bring the Caribbean to OBERON. Their music represents roots, dancehall and classic One-Drop reggae styles, full of top class rhythms and lyrics laced with world awareness messages and ranging from relaxing love ballads to heavy bass dance vibes.


The band presents the sound of the islands, especially Jamaica and Barbados, and the Rasta woman's versatile style along with featured guest performances from Boston’s latest dancehall sensation, by way of Jamaica, Mashy Word Compressor and the mystic melodies of Boston’s own rap legend, Scape Scrilla aka Jack Montel, by way of Barbados. It’s the perfect time to warm up to the sounds of the Caribbean and soak up the sand and beach atmosphere of the tropics.
