The Newton South Booster Club Lions 5K is a fundraiser to support Newton South High School athletics and events and activities that build South and community spirit. The race is open to the public and runs through the streets surrounding Newton South High School.

All runners (and walkers!) receive a FREE t-shirt and raffle ticket with their registration before May 5th, 2023. After May 5th, 2023, limited t-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Participants can run as individuals or as part of a team (a South team or one they create). Race prizes will be awarded in many categories, including Best Lion-themed costume.

$25 Students

$35 Non-students/Adults
