Point Judith, also known as the “graveyard of the Atlantic” is located in Narragansett, RI, south-east of Newport. Built in 1857 this lighthouse now serves as a US Coast Guard station and rests along the rocky shores overlooking the Atlantic. With numerous angles to view and approach Judith Point Light, there’s an array of photos to be captured!
All students should be familiar with basic camera functions, or have already participated in Digital Camera 1 or equivalent in order to participate.
Health and safety requirements:
-Beginning on June 1, 2021, masks and face coverings are optional for our fully vaccinated students. At this time, we ask that unvaccinated students / students who have not yet been fully vaccinated practice health-conscious and community-minded measures by wearing a mask for the duration of the class.
-Students and instructors will maintain safe physical distancing at all times
-Hand sanitizer will be available, however, participants are encouraged to also bring their own.
