CV Properties invites you to an outdoor evening event to celebrate their collaboration with ARES Management, Spalding Tougias Architects, Halvorson Design Partnership, Suffolk Construction, Available Light and Fort Point Artist Joanne Kaliontzis on the Channel Center Garage and Boston’s largest illuminated art installation and brightest new evening star.
We ask everyone to join us on July 29th in the brand new park to celebrate and unveil this new edition to the neighborhood. We've all seen the garage in the daylight but this will be the first time that it's fully complete! There will be representatives from many local businesses and non-profits plus local food trucks and entertainment!
Drop by at the end of the day.take time to catch up with friends and neighbors and look for the jumbo Inflatables bobbing in the air, marking the spot.
- Just back from European tour, there will be music by The Revolutionary Snake Ensemble.
- Explore a kiosk of Magical Artworks created by the young artstars from Artists For Humanity.
- When you get hungry stop by for a gourmet grilled cheese from Roxy’s Grilled Cheese food truck or enjoy a cool lemonade, yummy cookies and ice cream treats from The Cookie Monstah!
- Visit & shop at a preview of the Fort Point Arts Community’s new Made in Fort Point store.
- Snack on a sample from our newest neighbors LATE JULY CHIPS.
- Fort Point Theater Channel presents musical mini-performances.
- Make yourself comfortable in the new park across from the garage with areas to explore & relax.
- Get in an end of day work out with The Club by George Foreman III.
- Hit the mark get on some good family fun at the bean bag toss competition.
- Dance along with the Interactive Boston Hoop Troop.
- Get a sketch done for you by FPAC artists, enjoy the Urban Sketchers, listen up as story tellers wander around telling tales of the project and Neighborhood and enjoy roving jugglers, magicians, puppeteers & trivia games!
- Move to the music and enjoy dancing fashions from RueLala.
- All this will be going on until dusk when we “LIGHT IT UP”!
