Join us for the opening reception of Pablo Helguera's 'Libraria Donceles', a socially-engaged art project that takes the form of a used bookstore with more than 10,000 texts in the Spanish language. Over the course of the installation, the bookstore will be used as a meeting place for various communities and used to host a series of bilingual, salon-like gatherings for conversations, performances and workshops designed to encourage cultural understanding, tolerance and social activism.
