To coincide with the debut of its new discovery center, Revolution Place, the Museum will host a living history event that brings to life the confused days of 1778. The Continental Army and its supporters have reclaimed Philadelphia from the British. Who has spent the winter socializing with British officers and hoarding currency? Whose politics make it acceptable to confiscate their household goods for sale in the street? What will Washington’s army confront as they head towards a crossroads in New Jersey called Monmouth Court House? Meet townspeople restarting their lives or looking for justice and learn military drill from Revolutionary soldiers in activities throughout the Museum, on its outdoor Plaza, and in Revolution Place.
