The 2019 Lexington Small Yet Mighty Winter Market is opening its fourth season on Saturday, January 5! The new season comes with so much good news including an exciting line-up of vendors featuring your favorites from the regular season and a few new ones, too. This year’s winter market will be sure to keep you eating healthy and local all winter long!
The LFM will be open every other Saturday from 11 - 2 pm (January 5 & 19, February 2 & 16, March 2, 16, & 30, & April 13) at the Waldorf School, 739 Massachusetts Avenue. Free parking available. The market is on MBTA Bus Route 62 and 76.
The LFM is a producer-only market, ensuring that what you find is fresh and local, sustainably raised and carefully crafted by the farmers and vendors of the LFM. Each week, there will be ten farmers and vendors on-site bringing everything you need from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. New this year, we will be adding additional guest vendor spots so you can enjoy more of your summer market favorites all winter long; for a complete list of participating vendors visit our website: www.lexingtonfarmersmkt.org.
We accept SNAP and HIP; the LFM’s SNAP program matches up to $15 weekly and HIP can be used at Farmer Dave’s for fruit and vegetable purchases. The last day of HIP operations for this season will be February 28, 2019.
The entrance to the Winter Market is around the back of the Waldorf School; follow the signs! Parking will be available on Mass. Ave., in the school parking lot on the upper right near the playground, and in the Follen Church parking lot. There will also be limited parking available behind the school near the back entrance.
