Lindy 2: Rhythm, Timing, and Music with Andrew Selzer and Sarah Dice-Goldberg
Thursdays, October 19 - November 30, 8 - 9 p.m.
Our Lindy 2 classes build on what you learn in Lindy 1 to make you a well-rounded swing dancer and more confident on the dance floor. In Lindy 2: Rhythm, Timing, and Music, you will learn:
- Musicality fundamentals
- Basic understanding of swing music
Lindy 2 classes are offered throughout the year on a rotating schedule.
Do I Need A Partner?
No partner necessary! Because Lindy Hop is a very social dance, we rotate partners throughout the class, so you get to know and dance with everyone.
What Should I Wear?
Shoes that are comfortable and stick to your feet. Sling backs and flip flops are hard to dance in. As far as everything else, wear something comfortable that makes you feel good. You may however want to avoid articles of clothing that a hand on the back could get caught in.
