Find yourself in art at the 62nd annual Festival of the Creative Arts.

Nationally acclaimed performers and visual artists are showcased together with music, dance, theater, film, and artwork by more than 300 Brandeis students and alumni. Last year’s festival had attendance of nearly 7,000 people.

This year’s theme is inspired in part by “selfies,” the Oxford Dictionaries' word of the year in 2013, and celebrates art’s capacity to bring about self-discovery for both artists and audiences.

Experience four days of performances and artwork that explore identity in creatively unconventional and surprising ways, from the outrageous Hungry March Band, which has sassed its way to the front line of activist street bands, to the ever-popular singer-songwriter Livingston Taylor. Other highlights include two beloved Brandeis community celebrations: Culture X and A Cappella Fest. The resident actors of the Brandeis Theater Company present "Ten by Ten," captivating original plays. Enjoy visionary artwork on view across campus, including the five acclaimed exhibitions at the Rose Art Museum.

On “Super Sunday,” bring your friends and families to campus for dozens of performances and kids’ events including ImprovBoston, Tanglewood Marionettes, the Waltham Philharmonic, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra, and classic silent films accompanied by the Alloy Orchestra.

The Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts is free and open to the public.
