Since 1987, Jorge Ordóñez's mission has been to preserve the Spain's rich winemaking history and shed light on Spanish wines in the United States where wines from other regions and countries saturated the market. Ordóñez wanted to bring the oldest of Spain's authentic indigenous varieties to life and challenging the international palette and was the first to introduce a number of exotic varieties to the world including Godello and wines from Txacoli.
