When an edtech entrepreneur is anticipating selling into a district, state, or institution of higher education they may face a complex environment with multiple stakeholders who need to be involved. So, it important that the entrepreneur is ready to navigate such a sale, allocate their time and effort correcting, and “get to yes”.
Participants in this session will:
- identify the ways to identify the customer’s pain points
- explore the ways you can identify the right champions within the customer organization
- examine ways to navigate complex committee buying processes
- summarize the most common challenges, hurdles and opportunities that edtech entrepreneurs face when closing the sale
- discuss the types of upselling and cross selling strategies edtech entrepreneurs should focus on during a sale
- build a better understanding of the essential partnerships that are needed when closing an edtech deal
Instructor: Nick Zeckets, CEO & Co-founder, QuadWrangle, Inc.
Nick has led sales and revenue organizations for 15 years having a 56 straight quarter streak of beating quota and directly selling over $30MM in product and managing the sales of more than $50MM in that timeframe. He now is the CEO of QuadWrangle, a SaaS engagement platform for higher education that had revenues with its first client before ever raising money.
