3-Part Vinyasa Yoga Series Tuesday's • 6pm to 715pm • Jan 20th, Feb 3rd, Feb 17th Matt will guide you through the steps that will have you elevating off of your mat in Crow and Crane pose like you were born with wings. You will not only learn to ascend into these beautiful variations of Bakasana—you will also move through creative transitions and variations. Bringing together elements of core-strengthening, hip-opening, and shoulder integration, you'll start to develop the confidence to bring those feet up off the floor! This class is for beginners and frequent flyers alike—no matter what your level of expertise, Matt will guide you towards your highest flyest self. Explore opportunities to refine your pose with close attention to the details and see where you can take it! Session 1: Jan 20th - Take-Off • Crow/Crane or Bakasana: set-up, key energetic actions, and transitions. Session 2: Feb 3rd - Get Twisted • Side Crow or Parsva Bakasana: safe twisting, hand and finger placement, transitions and variations. Session 3: Feb 17th - Ultra-Hippy Crows • Flying Crow or Eka Pada Galavasana: proper preliminary hip-opening, knee safety, and integrating elements from the previous weeks.
