Learn in a 2-hour blast how to get started 3D Modeling using Fusion 360. If you have never 3D modeled, but want to, this class is the ideal way to get started. For those who have opened Fusion 360 and got confused with the interface, or are just interested in a refresher, we will be discussing the basics of how to use this incredible and versatile software. Topics Discussed will be Sketch Creation, Extrusion, Project Timeline, User Interface, Constraints, Parametric Modeling, and more!
Class Goals
In this workshop, we will help you to understand how to create basic sketches, use creation and modification tools, and model your design on this platform. At the end of this class, students will have a good understanding of some of the basic offerings of the Fusion 360 “Design” tools. They will be able to create basic shapes and designs in Fusion 360. Students are encouraged to sign up for our Fusion 360 Modeling Tools class upon completion of the course.
Online Access
This class will be run through Zoom and a link will be provided 24hrs before the start of the class. Students will need to log into Zoom via a computer/mobile device. Students are encouraged to download Fusion 360 prior to the start of the class and a dual-monitor system is suggested.
