Kiddos in the Kitchen: Cupcakes

In this fun cooking class, children will learn to make and decorate beautiful, tasty cupcakes!

Batter up! It’s time to make the cupcakes! In this hands-on children’s cooking class, we’ll explore three varieties of cupcakes with mix and match frosting. Children will make cake batter from scratch, delicious frostings, and then spend time decorating the cupcakes they create. At the end of the class, students will share their creations and eat the cupcakes they’ve prepared. Most likely, there will be a cupcake to take home as well. Sweet.

Covid-19 Guidelines: Each student will have their own station to work on and their own set of ingredients and kitchen tools. Siblings will be allowed to share a station, tools and ingredients. Stations will be spread out 3-6 feet apart and masks and gloves will be required during the class. Mask breaks will also be encouraged.

This drop-off class is designed for children ages 7-12. Class is limited to 10 students to allow for social distancing. Pre-registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event. Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another class within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours of the class.
