Kafka Day: A Barrel Aged Beer Festival

When we first started Kafka Day back in 2019, we assumed it would be a "one-off" sort of celebration: a way to blow off steam from the surreal (and moderately-to-very soul-crushing) weirdness that we'd just had to live through while completing our brewery expansion. But the holiday continues, as the surreal/soul-crushing weirdness seems to have spread to the world at large. And we just started another expansion that’s shaping up to be about as ridiculous as the first one.

Anyway, we'll take whatever excuse we can get in order to drink some barrel aged beers! We've got six releases lined up for you so come on out and enjoy some beer and food at the taproom, and if you wanna “level up” we’re selling tickets for guided tastings of the special releases through our website!

Happenstance - blended sour ale

High Voltage - sour ale with lime, agave, and Brettanomyces

600 - big stupid barleywine

Horatio's Reserve - G10 whiskey barrel aged barleywine

Fisticuffs - blueberry liqueur barrel aged dark strong ale

Sunday 3/5 12-4pm - Eastern Standard Liege Waffle Brunch

Private Tasting (Ticketed)

Join our brewers and founders Liz and Jared for a private tasting of all the Kafka Day releases. Limited tickets are available, and include a guided beer tasting, a discussion/Q&A on mixed fermentation and barrel aging, and some cheese pairings!
