Junior Ranger Discoveries at Powisset Farm

Join us during school vacation week for outdoor and indoor discovery of the natural creatures and their surroundings at Powisset Farm!

At this fun immersive program, we will hit the trail to look for tracks, scat and other signs that will tell us who lives in the Farm fields during the winter months. After spending time outside explorring what animals call Powisset Farm home, we will come back to the kitchen to warm up and continue learning about our animal friends through crafts and fun projects.

Please send your Jr. Ranger to this class dressed to spend most of the class outside with a daypack, 2 water bottles and a snack, as well as an extra layer depending on the weather. Snowshoes will be provided if needed.

This drop-off class is designed for children ages 6-9. The class is limited to 10 students. Pre-registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event. If it is within 2 days and you wish to register, please email [email protected] to find out if there is space remaining.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Rocky Woods 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
