Jukebox The Ghost Presents: HalloQueenThose of you who have seen Jukebox the Ghost in concert over the years know that they've had a "thing" for doing tacky covers. Donna Lewis. Huey Lewis and the News. Ace of Base. But a couple of years ago, a funny thing happened -- They started playing Queen's "Somebody to Love" in rotation. But not with any dose of irony. Not to be funny. They just discovered that though the band members can't agree on much musical common ground, they all really, really, really love Queen.
Which brings us to this new experiment they call: HalloQueen. Two sets of music, one as themselves and one as an in-costume set of Queen covers. Will they have the cajones to tackle "Bohemian Rhapsody"? Who will take David Bowie's part in "Under Pressure"? Will Ben (piano/vocals) commit to growing a Mercury-style mustache? These are questions only the passage of time can answer. Oh, and a ticket. You should probably buy a ticket to this show.
