New England's longest running interpretation of The Nutcracker takes the whole family on a fantastic journey with Clara as she saves the Nutcracker Prince by battling an army of mice. She travels through the enchanting snow forest to arrive in the Kingdom of the Sweets where dancing confections celebrate her bravery! José Mateo Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker at the historic Strand Theatre in Dorchester includes a cast of talented professional dancers as well as a children's cast of more than 150 young dancers from around Massachusetts.
