The Library will welcome New York Times bestselling author Jenny Odell for a discussion of her new book, Saving Time: Discovering a Life Beyond the Clock, followed by a signing, on August 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Main Library. This event is hybrid and free, and registration is required.

Jenny Odell, author of New York Times bestseller How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy, examines a new way to think about time in her latest book, Saving Time. In Saving Time, Odell raises questions about our conceptions of time by taking a deep dive into the fundamental structure of our society. Odell will discuss these questions and more during her talk at the Library.
