ABOUT SIHAM AND NASEEM:
In November of 2017, longtime Nahant resident Siham Byah
was unjustly detained by ICE for two months and subsequently deported back to her birth country of Morocco despite her pending asylum case. Her son Naseem was taken from her and put into DCF custody, and was uprooted from everything he knew and loved. As a result, Naseem has not had consistent communication with his mother for the last eight months.
Naseem is depressed and feeling things no nine year old child should feel because of his family's separation at the hands of ICE. The Justice4Siham coalition is working directly with Siham to reunite them and get the justice and peace they deserve.
