Join us for the gallery opening of "It's After the End of the World," a multimedia installation celebrating the last summer exhibit of The Spacesuits.
The Spacesuits is an ongoing happening, evolving through time and space. It has traveled to Reykjavík, Chicago, Santa Fe, and Portland. The Spacesuits is a network of artists and musicians spanning Iceland, the UK, the United States, and Canada. Each event hosted by The Spacesuits features both live performances by collective members and site-specific exhibitions that explore the state of the Afrofuture.
The Boston happening at the Distillery Gallery will be the last show for the summer, and to celebrate, The Spacesuits has invited a small roster of guest artists to contribute a series of pieces that situate us deep into the Future.
