The MIT Museum announces the opening of its newest exhibition, Inventions: 2014 Student Showcase. The exhibition will open on May 30th and will run until December 31, 2014. Inventions: 2014 Student Showcase will feature a range of inventions by MIT graduate and undergraduate students that exemplify MIT's legendary values of creativity, ingenuity and practical problem solving. There will be eleven inventions on display including a phone-controlled appliance that grows food, a tabletop interface that converts everyday objects into musical instruments, a 3D-printed robotic arm that can be controlled using muscle movements, and a robotic zipper.
