In this one session intensive workshop, we will learn about the process of making cyanotypes. Sometimes referred to as sun prints or blueprints, cyanotype is a 19th century photographic printing process that uses UV light to create a cyan blue print. Students will learn about the history of the process, as well as learn to coat paper and expose prints. We will use both the sun and indoor sources of UV light. Students are encouraged to bring photo negatives, flat objects, or different shaped 3D objects. No previous experience required. A $30 materials fee per student is included in the tuition. Instructor: Gabija Vaisvilaite

This class will meet in-person at CCAE. Please view our In-Person Class Guidelines prior to enrolling.

A $30 materials fee is included in the registration cost.

Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) offers online and in-person classes in subjects including: World Languages, Visual Arts, Food & Wine, Humanities, Performing Arts, Life & Wellness, & Business & Technology. All upcoming classes can be found at ccae.org.
