Intro ice climbing

Learn how to climb ice in this entry level course. Get familiar with using crampons and ice tools, tying knot’s, crag safety and much more.

Redline Guiding is a guide agency located in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Owner Mike Cherim and the guides at Redline have led hundreds of adventures throughout the region and beyond during four seasons. In addition to their work in guiding, the Redline team is active in volunteering in Search and Rescue efforts. Redline Guiding takes your learning and safety seriously, and signing up for this weekend class through Ridj-it makes sure you are getting the best price possible while also fairly comping the efforts of Mike and his team.

Gain confidence in climbing the Ice Coast, and obtain the necessary background to then continue hiking the best of New Hampshire's mountains. Any equipment you’ll need can be rented after arriving, including ice axes and more. Bring all of the gear you have to see if it makes the cut.

The cost of this trip includes the 1 day course. One night of accommodation, all the necessary rentals, and carpool from Boston can be purchased separately if needed. This adventure would normally cost $325/person, so this is an excellent deal.

If you live north of Boston you can be picked up at a Park & Ride if you wish, otherwise you may meet everyone at the destination. Previous experience hiking at least Mt. Monadnock qualifies you to join.
