Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with activities and talks for all ages, inspired by the work of women artists on view in our exhibition "Women Take the Floor" and throughout the collection.


Our Morse Study Room will be open for a special viewing of original works on paper by women, and Spotlight Talks led by graduate students from Tufts University and Boston University will take place throughout the afternoon. Porsha O, City of Boston's Poet Laureate, will deliver a special performance in "Women Take the Floor," and if you're feeling inspired, take the floor yourself! Activate Amalia Pica's "Now Speak!," an artwork on view in the exhibition, by reading a speech from the podium.
